Some musings on life. What is the goal of life? Things I’m sure of

The goal of life is NOT to graduate High School.

The goal of life is NOT to graduate College.

The goal of life is NOT to get a job.

The goal of life is NOT to be successful in a career.

The goal of life is NOT to get a great home.

The goal of life is NOT to get a great car.

The goal of life is NOT to find your soulmate.

The goal of life is NOT to have kids.

What I am sure of:

The goal of life IS to die.

We are born. We do things. We die. It is the ultimate outcome. Everything between is fluff.

But how amazing fluff can be. ^__^ The fluff of life is what makes life worth living. I want to fluff my life up doing things I enjoy. Drawing, listening to music, a video game or two, having friends. Eating good food. ^___^ (I can’t wait till I can settle down and have a regular meal plan…) The fact of the matter is, it doesn’t matter what we do during our life. I’d say, as long as what we do makes us happy, and we can look back and say we had a satisfactory life, then it is worth doing. Of course, we mostly have to worry about what comes after. Some say there is no afterlife. We die and nothing happens. Others believe there is much much more. What we do affects our home in the afterlife. It doesn’t matter who’s wrong or right. That’s the individuals problem. During life, I don’t see what everyone can’t help make life better for everyone around them. Wouldn’t we have a much better life if everyone helped others?

My aim is to always be a good person. Not a good student. Not a good christian. Not a good worker. Of course I’d like to be a good student, christian, and worker, but my overall aim is to be a good PERSON. To help others as much as I can. To do more for others, then for myself. I’m certain that I’ll be taken care of eventually. In the meantime, I’m going to fluff up my life.
